The Big Stupid Parking Lot Carnival Silent Auction!
Our silent auction is back again at the Big Stupid Parking Lot Carnival. As we've said many, many times... we are a nonprofit. That doesn't mean we don't make money; it means all of our profits go back towards our mission of transforming our community through laughter. At our annual fundraiser, the silent auction is one of the key ways we raise money for our theatre. Yep, it's just like the silent auction at the National Proctology Foundation brown tie ball, but with way better items to bid on.
For people bidding, you can expect plenty of local, one-of-a-kind items and experiences donated by awesome folks in our community. This includes gift cards to popular local restaurants, tickets to see Indigo Girls, cool art by local creatives, and plenty of only-at-Dad's silent auction items like a customized Voicemail Greeting recorded by NPR's Lois Reitzes. This is your chance to snag some fantastic local experiences, at a great price, while supporting everyone's favorite scrappy little theatre.
Pre-register before the auction goes live at https://carnival19.givesmart.com, or text carnival19 to 52182. Check back April 1 to check out available items!
Want to donate items to our silent auction? We'd love to take your stuff. If you are a local business looking to reach new clients, our silent auction is a great route to get your name out. Our fundraiser draws in “emerging high value consumers”—which is a fancy way of saying our patrons are young, educated, upwardly mobile consumers looking to make lifelong connections with great brands.
